Haituozi reservoir permeability is low in Jilin, where is in the central depression of the southern Songliao Basin, belonging to the low porosity and low permeability reservoir, and the reservoir is damaged seriously in the drilling and completion process. Therefore,in this paper, considering the current low permeability oil reservoir damage and current situation of protection, for the regional tectonic features of Haituozi, mainly for the following areas of research:regional reservoir characteristics and clay mineral analysis of Haituozi, the evaluation of reservoir sensitivity, regional mechanism of formation damage and protection technology research. The evaluation results of indoor reservoir sensitivity show that the velocity sensitivity, the water sensitivity are all weak, the alkali sensitivity and the water sensitivity is strong or no,the salinity sensitivity is secondary, the acid sensitivity is weak or strong. The stress sensitivity of natural fracture sandstone reservoir is from medium or on the strong side to strong.Laboratory test results show that the main ways to damage the regional Haituozi non-fractured low-permeability sandstone reservoirs is water-locking damage and the main ways to damage the fractured reservoir is solid phase damage.FSJ is optimized as water proofing agent by experimental, its appropriate concentration is 0.4%.The core penetration values of drilling fluid system is more than 85%.Both of fiber blocking agent and composite temporary blocking agent are optimized by the way of Andreasen equation. The drilling fluid system optimized to protect the reservoir can effectively protect the regional Haituozi fracture reservoir.
