With the improvement of living standards,more and more people tend to collect and wear the valuable handicrafts made of precious wood.Due to the increase in the collection of such craft,the production can not meet the market demand gradually.The traditional processing method is manual processing,which can not meet the need of society obviously,and it will cost too much if turning ordinary lathe,these small workshops could not afford a lathe which is tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands.Given this situation,a special lathe CNC system is researched which is cost low,good effect.The main work is as follows:According to the characteristics of the production,the overall scheme of the dedicated lathe CNC system is designed.The dedicated CNC lathe machine module system is divided into upper and lower two parts.The design of image processing is introduced in PC module,including: a grayscale image,binarization,edge extraction image,and finally establish the coordinate system curve fitting to the extracted effects;including the communication protocol design,a suitable system of communication protocols design;consisit of communication design for the PC to lower computer data transmission orders of communication and lower machine feedback data to the host computer information,to realize successfully communicate;then the software platform to build is introduced and so on.Lower machine module introduces the ARM how to control the stepping motor scheme,which including hardware circuit design: the power supply circuit design,startup mode,reset circuit design,a memory circuit design,debugging circuit design;including a stepping motor drive control program selection and stepping motor drive mode,the connected with the ARM;and including the stepper motor speed control program design,the use of interpolation method ARM design and plus control programs deceleration.Then the overall system implementation procedures is given,which including host computer interface design,communication protocol design,the realization of the stepper motor,etc.The result of to relize software and hardware show that the desired results of the system achieved.
