Now,in the textile industry,the combination of machinery and automation has become the development direction of modern textile industry.In the traditional process of carpet production,the yarn transmission and yarn continued is completed by the manual,and the process entirely controlled by the workers' experience,which is out of line with the modern production and time-consuming and laborious.In addition,at the end of the order,the end of yarn can't be used again,which is waste of yarn.With the pressure of labor and raw material rising,how to adapt to the development trend of industrial automation and intelligent has become the key of carpet weaving enterprises to upgrade and development.The Axminster carpet weaving machine is taken as the research object and the existing creel technology is analyzed in this paper.The technology includes three parts: the overall layout,the orderly transmission of yarn and production scheduling.The yarn feeding system,the transmission device the creel mechanism and the yarn changing schedule are mainly researched in this paper,and a design scheme and optimization algorithm is put forward.The specific research contents are as follows:First of all,through the research of the composition and layout of the existing yarn feeding system of Axminster carpet weaving machine,the disadvantages of weaving process are analyzed.Then,a semi-automatic rebuilding scheme is developed according to the enterprise's requirement.The overall structure of the yarn feeding system is built and the site layout is re-divided in the program.Secondly,the self-made winder is used to collect the yarns,and the corresponding transfer manipulator is designed.In the paper,after the analysis of the demand and function,the appropriate coordinate form,degree of freedom,drive mechanism and actuator are selected,and the frame,the structure design of transmission device and grasping device are described detailed.Finally,the movement sequence is also described.Then,through the study of the existing design and using status of the creel,a improvement plan of the creel is put forward in this paper.Due to the disadvantages of the original yarn storage method,and it is also not suitable for the new yarn feeding system,the coreless yarn group is used to instead the bobbin.And according to its structural characteristics,the corresponding yarn fixing mechanism and yarn guide device are designed on the creel mechanism.Finally,the production scheduling of carpet loom is studied.Considering the intuition and convenience,the yarn group is arranged by the color and partition.After obtaining the carpet image file in bmp format,it is transformed into a two-dimensional array of pixel information by Matlab.And the yarn count is calculated with the array to generate the corresponding accumulated array of yarn and the array of yarn consumption.By the mapping relationship of the yarn group consumption array and the creel position,a yarn-change task list is obtained.According to the task list,the efficiency of continuous yarn is improved.
