As people’s extensive attention to the clothing comfort,study on the fabrics’ warm-cool feeling is extremely important.At present,the characterization indexes of fabrics’ warm-cool feeling are limited and many of them are static and semi-dynamic indexes which can’t fully reflect the fabric’s warm-cool feeling.In this study,the widely applied new warm and cool fibers and natural fiber yarns,which are popular in the market,are used as raw materials to knit in different structures to study the warm-cool feeling of different fabrics.By using the dynamic heat and moisture transfer tester and the probe-tactile surface roughness tester,which are self-devekoped,to study the effect of fabrics with different fibers whose temperature and humidity change on double faces,different surface condition and fabric structure on the fabric warm-cool feeling.By the combination of subjective evaluation and objective experiment,to analyzed synthetically the significant factors influencing the warm-cool feeling of fabrics,and build a multiple regression model of fabric warm-cool feeling,which provided more valuable dynamic indexes for fabric warm-cool feeling.The key point is to study the effect of micro environmental changes of the human skin when touched by the fabric on the fabric warm-cool feeling.Including four parts which are the surface condition,the objective experiment to study the temperature and humidity changes on the double face of the fabric using the simulated skin-fabric testing system and the subjective evaluation of the temperature and humidity changes on both sides of the fabrics and the changes of the temperature and humidity on both sides of the fabrics reflected by the human-skin fabric testing system.At the same time,getting the moisture regain,moisture permeability and Q-max of the fabric by traditional heat and moisture transfer experiments.The exploratory index is compared with the traditional index to analyze the correlation between them and the warm-cool feeling.It concluded that the tester can reflect the warm-cool feeling of the fabric to a certain extent,the surface roughness tester based on the probe contact can reflect the roughness of the fabric surface and the coil density of knitted fabrics;two kinds of exploratory experiment arefeasible and effective by comparing the subjective warm-cool feeling of the warm and cool fiber and the natural fiber fabrics;At the same time,the multivariate linear regression model can be used to study the effect of fabric type,surface condition,fabric structure and basic physical properties on the fabric warm-cool feeling,and to provide theoretical basis for optimization design of different fabrics. |
