Photocatalytic reaction occursunder the combination of light and catalyst, which can make full use of solar energy at room temperature, with low cost,no pollution advantages.Photocatalytic technology has great potential in solving the current social energy shortage and environmental pollution problems. In this study, natural graphite was used as the base material to prepare expanded graphite and graphene substrate.Bismuth molybdate-expanded graphite and bismuth molybdate-graphene photocatalyst were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. The prepared photocatalysts were characterized by XRD,SEM,FT-IR and UV-vis.The results showed that bismuth molybdate-expanded graphite and bismuth molybdate-graphene had good photocatalytic activity in the visible region. The photocatalytic activity of bismuth molybdate-expanded graphite and bismuth molybdate-graphene were investigated in this study. The results showed that the degradation efficiency of methyl orangewas 91.3%,when the initial concentration of methyl orange solution was 30mg/L,the dosage of bismuth molybdate-expanded graphite composite catalyst was 0.5g/L,the pH value was 6,the temperature was 25?.When the initial concentration of methyl orange solution was 30mg/L,the dosage of bismuth molybdate-graphene composite catalyst was 0.5g/L,the pH value was 6,the temperature was 25?,the degradation efficiency of methyl orange can reach 95.7% or more.
