Longitudinal seam welded pipe play a huge role in the field of national defense and military.At present,the welding process of straight swam welded pipe mainly depends on manual detection,which affects the welding efficiency and quality to a great extent ant it is difficult to meet the actual production requirements.In this paper,based on the structural light imaging measurement technology,the author designs a seamless welding seam tracking and testing system to realize the on-line automatic detection of welding quality to improves the welding quality effectively.Based on the analysis of the welding forming characteristics and welding arc spectrum characteristics of the pipe body,the system completes the overall design of the pipe welding and tracking system base on structural light imaging through component selection analysis,imaging optical path design and ray filtering.Secondly,based on the line laser image which is collected in front of the welding point and the effect of the arc on the extraction characteristics of the laser line feature,a method based on the geometric center method is proposed to extract the strip image efficiency and accuracy,thus ensuring the robustness of weld tracking.After the welding line is collected,the laser line image is collected on the basis of the center of the light bar,and the weld width and the height of the molten pool are calculated to complete the weld quality inspection.Finally,a software system based on VC ++ is developed for the seam tracking and detection method.With the PLC control system,the automatic tracking of the weld is completed through the software control,and the quality of the weld surface is displayed.At last,the system is verified by the actual pipeline welding experiment.The results show that the system can realize the welding tracking and welding quality automatic inspection of the straight seam welded pipe,thus effectivelyimproving the welding quality.
