In recent years,it has been paid more and more attention to the preparation of environmental friendly composite materials with specific properties.At present,there are many researches on the wood filler filled the elastic composite materials such as rubber,polyurethane and so on in China.However,there are few reports on the use of wood filler to fill the thermoplastic elastomer.Thermoplastic elastomer material not only has excellent physical and chemical properties,and does not need to be treated like rubber.Therefore,it is necessary to study the thermoplastic elastomer filled with wood filler.In this paper,three kinds of wood fillers,pine powder,bamboo powder and cellulose,were used to fill in hydrogenated styrene butadiene styrene block copolymer(SEBS).The processing flowability of the composites was improved by using three kinds of self-made compatible lubricants,which were random polypropylene wax(APPW),maleic anhydride grafted atactic polypropylene wax(MAPPW),and adipose wax A.The effects of the content and type of wood filler,the content and the type of lubricant on the tensile strength,100% elongation stress,300% elongation stress,elongation at break,elongation at break and tear strength of SEBS/wood elastic composites(hereinafter referred to as composites)was studied.The influence of wood filler content on the tensile cross-section of the composites was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The experimental results show that: Fixed SEBS and adipose wax A content,the effect of pine powder,bamboo powder and cellulose on the properties of composites is basically the same.With the increase of the content of wood filler,the tensile strength and tear strength of the composites increased firstly and then decreased.When the content of these wood filler was 25 phr,the comprehensive properties of the composites were the best,and the filling effect was as follows:cellulose> pine powder >bamboo powder.The shape and materialmposition of wood filler have an effect on the filling effect.Through the analysis of SEM pictures,it was found that the content of wood filler was increased,the dispersion effect of wood filler was poor,and the interface between SEBS and wood filler was worse.Fixed The content of SEBS and wood fillers,adding adipose wax A,APPW,MAPPW makes the tensile strength,tensile strength and tear strength decreased,with the increase of the content,the greater the decline,and the elongation at break increases in a certain range of add.The addition of lubricant does not appear to compatibility effect,with the effect of lubrication and plasticization.When the content of these lubricants was 4 phr,the sort of effect on composite materials was as follows: MAPPW>APPW> adipose wax A.In addition,it was found that SEBS had good compatibility with wood filler and the interfacial bonding strength was very large.It is very suitable for the preparation of elastic wood plastic composites.In the process of wood-plastic composite,the dynamic thermal chemistry of wood filler will change,which will affect the property of wood-plastic composite.Therefore,the wood filler can not be treated as ordinary inorganic filler.
