Nanomaterials with good optical, electrical, magnetic, photoelectric performance, have been widely used in solar cells, optoelectronic devices, biological technology,lithium-ion batteries, sensors and other fields of scientific research.Today the key of the nanomaterials science is selecting a suitable, convenient and efficient preparation method to synthesis nanomaterials with good cryatallinity, complete crytal shape and size uniform. Therefore,we focus on using dc arc discharge to prepare nanomaterials, which has an siginificant effect on the development of nanomaterials. In this thesis,we taked study of SiO_x?tin metal compound?metal bismuth compound as the object of the study, using dc arc discharge method nanostructure and nanomaterials, and analyzed the morphology and performance characteristics of as prepares the kind of materials. For SiO_x nanomaterials,we use graphite Si and SiO_x powder as the initial material, receive different morphology features of nanomaterials such as nanowires?nanoflowers?nanoballs collecting at the different location through the method of dc arc diacharge. In the performance,we analyzed the excellent luninescence of Si/SiO_x nanowires by UV and PL,proving the application potential in the photoelectric device. We also systhesis successfully tin sulphide and tin selenide nanomaterials that the morphology of the nanostructure is layered structure by dc arc discharge. The research of bismuth compound mainly explore the different reaction pressure, reaction time and current impacting on the morphology of nanomaterials,we are looking for the best growth conditions about bismuth sulfide and bismuth telluride.
