With the development of urban construction and dramatic increase of population,wastewater emissions problem is becoming acute increasingly.As the important infrastructure of city,wastewater treatment project plays a guiding and restricting role in the urban development.Tonghua wastewater treatment plant was founded in 2009,and it has been running at full capacity.The project comprehensively considered urban drainage plan,wastewater quality and quantity,aiming to solve the environmental problem.Then the upgrading and extension of Tonghua wastewater treatment plant were designed.Process design for upgrading and extension of Tonghua wastewater treatment plant was built in the reserved land of the first phase project.The extension and upgrading scale of wastewater treatment were designed as 50,000m3/d and 50,000m3/d,respectively.In addition,level A standard of “pollutant discharge standard of urban sewage treatment plant”(GB18918-2002)of effluent quality would be achieved.The first phase of the upgrading project: The biochemical reaction pool inflow was decreased as 40,000m3/d on the basis of maintaining the original AAO process.The overflowing well was transformed into distribution well,reconstructed secondary sedimentation tank with water well,expanded the biochemical reaction tank aeration with the engine room area,a sludge dewatering machine room as a two-phase shared sludge enrichment room.The second phase of the expansion project sewage treatment process using "cyclone grit chamber + primary sediment pool + multi-mode AAO + secondary settling tank" process,the use of "centrifugal concentration + plate and frame dehydration" process unified treatment of one or two sludge,The scale of 100,000 m3/d of the depth of treatment using "efficient sedimentation pool + filter cloth filter + UV disinfection" process,part of the tail into the Tongtian River and then into the Hun River,part of the return of water reuse workshop.Water reuse using UF + RO + mixed bed process,the scale of water reuse 30,000 m3/d,the water to meet the boiler water supply requirements.The completion of wastewater treatment plant of Tonghua City will greatly reduce the urban environment pollution,and effectively improve the overall urban environment.Meanwhile,it is conducive to create a favorable investment environment for Tonghua City,and to promote the sustainable development of urban economy.
