The porous carbon matrerials have been applied extensively in fields of electrochemistry and gas adsorption due to their well-developed pore structure,high specific surface area and excellent chemical stability.However,porous carbon matrerials still have great potential in improving their properties like porosity,conductivity and mechanical properties.In this paper,a series of porous carbon materials were prepared by the process of sol-gel,carbonization and activation using hexamethylene tetramine?HTMA?,polyvinyl alcohol?PVA?and carbon nanotubes?CNT?as raw materials.The structure and properties of the prepared porous carbon materials were systematically investigated,and the main research contents are as follows:?1?HTMA was employed for the curing of the phenolic resin,and the effect of the amount of HTMA on the structure was studied.The BET surface area and total pore volume of porous carbon that prepared by the process of sol-gel,carbonization and activation involving HTMA can reach 2228 m2/g and 1.07 cm3/g,respectively.When applied in the supercapacitor,a good double layer capacitor behavior was obtained and the specific capacity can be 251 F/g.This can be attributed to the contribution of the super high surface area to the capacitance.?2?Porous carbon were prepared using PVA and RF as raw materials,and the effect of the amount of PVA on the shaping process and structure was investigated.The BET surface area and total pore volume of the finally prepared porous carbon can reach 1600 m2/g and 0.85 cm3/g,respectively.A good double layer capacitor behavior was obtained and the specific capacity can be 234 F/g.The adsorption capacity of the pure CO2 can reach 5.33 mmol/g at atmospheric pressure.Good cycle performance as well as less energy consumption in the regeneration process were also observed.?3?The preparation method of porous carbon by in-situ hybridization of CNT and PF and carbonization process were explored,and the effect of the amount of CNT on the structure of PF was investigated.When used in the electrodes of the sodium batteries,The first discharge capacities of the sample with 10 wt%CNT can reach 417.6 mAh/g.However,a sharp decay existed simultaneously,thus need for a further improvement.
