| Many fundamental abilities develop quickly when people at pre-school age(3-6years old)which is a golden age for those children’s intelligence building and physical development.So the society pays close attention to what kinds of education,entertainment and daily products preschool children are using.The facts prove that for preschool children,edutainment,an educational design,can fully foster intelligence and has significant effects on personality development,logical thinking and behavior custom formation.The key of designing educational toys for preschool children is to make children master rich knowledge when playing happily.Thus children can develop in many aspects through educational toys.Market research finds that the educational cloth toy takes up little market sales compared to other kinds of toys for preschool children.And the design of educational cloth toy’s commonly shows low-age trend.What is more,the vast majority of cloth toys are stuffed dolls and their design are very similar.Therefore,to make up for the deficiency of market design,the author holds that cloth should be widely used for preschool children’s educational toys on account of cloth’s particular advantages like safe,environmentally friendly,soft to touch,easy to clean and used repeatedly to meet demands of preschool children and their parents.Based on the analysis of preschool children’s lots of characteristics,this research adds innovative methods about educational toy designing so as to find the bonding point between cloth and educational design.The research summarizes the characteristics of educational preschool children toys and discusses the principles of designing educational cloth toys for preschool children as well as future development orientation.It’s aim is to explore new ideas of educational clothtoy designing and provides new practical plans for application. |
