With the development of modern industry,the demand of part performance in the equipment manufacturing industry is more and more rigorous,which is starting to challenge the manufacturing technology of machine tools.Processing difficulties of modern NC cutting tools is mainly because of problems in grinding ultrahard materials and processing complex shapes,which asks for higher quality of CNC tool grinding machine.As the cornerstone of country’s industry,the research of CNC tool grinder focus in the development of five-axis CNC tool ginding machine.In the above context,a type of five-axis CNC tool grinding machine is designed and analysed with the help of virtual prototype technology in this paper.To analyse the static dynamic performance of this machine tool,a finite element model is built for virtual experiment.Whereafter,according to results of analysis,structure of the grinder is optimized and evaluated.Results presented in this paper shows that virtual prototype technology can raise the efficiency of the design process and provide theoretical base for the manufacturing of the grinder physical prototype.The dissertation has mainly the following parts:(1)According to the modularized design thought,functional modules of this grinding machine are established,which make design requirements specified.And the theoretical base of the kindred product designing in the future is provided.(2)The detailed design of nonstandard and standard parts in this grinding machine is researched,and the models of the grinder are established and assembled by SolidWorks software.(3)In order to verify the rationality of design and provide the basis for optimizing,the research to finite element models of key components is carried on,and the static dynamic performance of key components in the grinder is presented during this part.(4)Structure parameters of machine column is optimized by response surface analysis and statistics processing,and ultimately multi-goal optimization is realized.(5)The performance of the assembly of grinding system is researched in forced vibration by harmonic response simulation,and the relationship between the displacemen of the key point and the vibration frequency is showed in this part.All the indications are that the rational structural design could avoid the resonance frequency.
