Based On The PDCA Cycle Of PWHT Technology Development Research

Post Welding Heat Treatment(PWHT)is an important step after welding.Its purpose is to eliminate the welding residual stresses in the weld,eliminate residual hydrogen in the weld and improve the performance of weld joint,etc.PWHT is very important for welding quality assurance.Different welding work is different to the requirement of PWHT.PWHT for the implementation of the different welding work have different forms.That is to say,different welding structure,welding materials and welding method require different PWHT process.So every PWHT implement process of the project has its unique features.Normally,before the implementation of the project,its need to carry out a series of PWHT process development work in order to obtain a set of suitable for the project implement and comply with the design requirements of PWHT process parameters.As the welding structure becoming larger and larger,increase of the welding thickness and the welding materials for temperature sensitivity factors,PWHT implementation is becoming more and more difficult.Changeable internal and external conditions of permutation and combination form number of results.The purpose of the PWHT process is to find a set of process parameters which are most suitable for the engineering implementation.In this paper,the PDCA cycle theory combined with PWHT process development formed a set of solution to the management of the new technology development train of thought.With the help of quality management tools such as cause and effect diagram,find the root cause of PWHT implementation difficulties.In the PDCA cycle theory,formulate measures for the key factors to promote PDCA circulation and examination results,and then analyze the deviation,again making measures,gradually improve circulation,which can satisfy a set of process parameters to methods of engineering.Under this management idea,taking the S power plant steel containment PWHT project as a case,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the implementation of the project PWHT process,and obtains the key factors affecting the implementation of the process.Tests based on PDCA cycle and eventually get a set of implementation of the project of PWHT process parameter method,and also verified the PDCA cycle theory in the application of new technology development projects.Finally,the conclusions of this study and the future prospects are summarized.
