In recent years,with economic system reform,because of urban and rural population poured into the city,resulting in a large number of population in the city growth,especially as the Yangtze River Delta area.It is economic development very much,population density is soaring year by year.As the discharge of sewage and industrial wastewater in the city,the black smelly river and eutrophication phenomenon is becoming serious increasingly,.Suzhou as a tourist city in the Yangtze River Delta,a large number of population will make the water apparent serious.The main method of manage of urban rivers is to make the city’s water flows up.The water flowing can increase the dissolved oxygen in water,and speeding up the degradation rate of microorganism on the organic matter and nutrients in water.Under a certain velocity,it also can inhibit the growth of algae in the water,to prevent the occurrence of eutrophication.At present,many researchers have improved the water quality of urban river by increasing water flow,but it is not clear whether it is due to the change of flow rate and how the flow rate affects the urban apparent.Based on this,the river in the old city zone of Suzhou as the research object,to explore the relationship between apparent and velocity,from the angle of influence factors of water apparent and particle size to analysis the influence mechanism between water apparent and velocity.Draw the following conclusions:(1)In the study area,the flow velocity in the 0.031~1.009m/s,the SPI value is between17.933~77.095,in this research range,velocity and SPI values were positively correlated,the correlation coefficient was 0.343(p<0.05),velocity and SPI value showed that with the increase of flow rate,SPI value is increased faster,and then maintained at a certain level and the flow velocity of water has great effect on the water apparent.(2)In the study area,the river channel is mainly divided into three types: inorganic dominant type,Trophic dominant type and mixed type,The River belongs to the inorganic is a lindun River upstream(ping men xia tang),the flow velocity range is 0.414~1.009m/s,with the increase of flow rate,SPI value decreased;Trophic dominant type River Including officer commander River(officer commander River Bridge),moat(Zimen River Bridge)and nine of Hong Kong(Pan Li River Bridge)etc.,the flow velocity range is 0.058~0.776m/s,with the increase of flow rate,SPI value has not changed nearly;Mixed river including pingmen River(single bridge section),Taohuawu River(Taowu River Bridge section),the lindun river downstream(vinegar Fang Qiao section)and Pingjiang River(Dong Pan Ruxiang River section),big Liu Zhihe(Xinqiao section)and the suspended river(River Bridge section),the flow velocity range is 0.009~0.781m/s,with the increase of flow rate,SPI value increases linearly and significantly influence.(3)In the study area,the size distribution of basic water into unimodal distribution,excellent water separation of three types,is very positively skewed,and very sharp kurtosis.For the inorganic section,flow velocity is mainly to influence the SPI value of the water by nutritive salt in the river;Trophic dominant type,flow rate is mainly to influence the SPI value of the water in the river by affecting the algae in the water;mixed type,through the role of water,flow rate affect the SPI value of the water by affecting the algae and content of inorganic suspended matter,and with the increase of flow rate,the level of inorganic water increases,water is began to inorganic type.
