Controlling the Tin plating thickness for Aluminium alloy products effectively is a complex system.Because there are a lot of factors that affect the thickness of Tin plating.These objective factors are easy to lead researchers to misunderstand the product at the beginning.STC operator is a TRIZ innovative thinking method.With using this method to analyze it,I found that there are three key factors to affect the thickness a lot.These factors are rack shape and size design,plating time,thread hole processing accuracy and plating margin setting.The corrosion electrochemical behavior of Tin layer samples with different thickness was tested by polarization curves and electrochemical impedance in 3.5wt.%NaCl solution,I found that the Tin layer with 10?m thickness has the most superior corrosion resistance.That is the target of Tin plating thickness controlling.In order to achieve the target of Tin plating thickness controlling,we need change the rack structure.It can balance the current density distributing on the surface and help to get the uniform distribution of Tin plating on the product.To reduce the time of electroplating Tin plating step by step,the Tin layer thickness is reduced to a reasonable and economic level.The machining accuracy and setting the plating allowance are adopted to solve the problem that the thread hole is not communicated with the thread gage.By effectively controlling the thickness of the Tin plating,the time of electrolytic Tin plating was reduced from the original 18 minutes to 10 minutes,and the thickness of Tin plating was reduced from 16?m to 10?m.Using the method of effectively controlling the thickness of the electroplating layer,it not only reduces the time of Tin plating,saves about 10% plating cost,but also reduces the time of the full-inspection in manufacturer side,and improves the production efficiency.In addition,it can help to greatly reduce the waste of resources and environmental pollution.
