As a polymer processing one of the main equipment of twin screw extruder,in polymer processing industry has been,and will further get more and more widely used.There are different types of twin screw extruder,in general,the mixture of ordinary parallel twin-screw extruder performance is good,the compression ratio can not meet the requirements,conical double screw extruder compression is large,but the poor mixing performance.For now some factory design and production of high groove depth ratio of twin screw extruder,the compression ratio can meet the requirements,but its part of the screw structure is sweep type structure,self-cleaning and mixing performance is poorer.Ladder shaped screw structure of the double screw type is the sweep,self-cleaning and mixing performance is good,its structure and trapezium structure,with high compression ratio.Trapezium function of twin screw extruder,therefore,better meet the requirements of the compression ratio.For different center distance of twin screw extruder extrusion melt phase for analysis and comparison.In this paper the main research contents: 1 in this paper,the stairs is twin screw extruder,the advantages of choosing the appropriate combination of tooth profile,analyze the movement process of when it is squeezed.2 using Creo to increase after the center distance of double screw part entity modeling,and to establish the finite element model.3 flow field by using ANSYS analysis module,the analysis of flow field and the flow field under different center distance.4 for screw stress distribution in the flow field of fluid-solid coupling analysis.
