Studies On The Structure And Catalytic Properties Of Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 Catalysts For Selective Oxidation Of 1,2-Propanediol | | Posted on:2018-01-27 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:B B Chen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2311330512490767 | Subject:Chemical Engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | | | It is of great theoretical and practical importances to develop the techniques for production of lactic acid/ploy-lactic acid from glycerol through 1,2-propanediol.The structure and catalytic properties of supported Au-Pd catalysts for selective oxidation of 1,2-propanediol have been studied by using micro-reactor tests combined with various physico-chemical methods in this work.The main results are as follows:1.The catalytic properties of supported Au-Pd catalysts for selective oxidation of 1,2-propanediol are closely related to the nature of support used.Among the supported Au-Pd catalysts using Mg(OH)2、Ca(OH)2、HAP、CaCO3 and CaC2O4 as a catalyst support,Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 catalysts exhibited the unique catalytic and recyclable properties.2.The catalytic properties of supported Au-Pd catalysts for selective oxidation of 1,2-propanediol are closely related to the catalyst composition.The optimum composition of supported Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 catalyst is 0.9%Au-0.1%Pd/Mg(OH)2.And,The optimum reaction conditions for the Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 catalyst is 90 ℃,4 and CNaOH =1.0 mol/L.nditions are temperature 90 ℃,time 4 h,stirring rate 500 r/min,CNaOH =1.0 mol/L.3.The Au and Pd components existed in their elementary states in the supported Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 catalysts,and there was a probable interaction between Au and Pd metals,resulting in the promotional effects of supported Au-Pd/Mg(OH)2 catalyst. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | 1,2-propanediol, selective oxidation, lactic acid, Au-Pd, Mg(OH)2 | | Related items |
