Our country has abundant coal resource.The coal pyrolysis and poly-generation technology can improve the coal utilization efficiency and reduce the pollutant emissions.The coal tar,as one of the products of coal pyrolysis,can be transformed into fuel oil by hydroprocessing.It can alleviate the oil crisis of our country.The purpose of hydrorefining is to remove the N,S,O heteroatoms and to enhance the saturation of the coal tar distillate.Quinolone,DBT,1-methyl hydroprocessing naphthalene and o-cresol were chosen as the typical model compound in coal tar to investigate the influence of phenolics on HDN,HDS and HDA of coal tar components.The results suggested that o-cresol could strongly inhibit the HDN reaction of quinolone,HDS of DBT and HDA of 1-methylnaphthalene.The effect of hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation of phenol oil before and after removal of phenolic oil was analyzed by using commercial catalyst.The results showed that the HDN and HDS were better when the phenolic oil was removed.Therefore,the phenol oil was suggested to be removed before hydroprocessing.A series of NiMoP/TiO2-Al2O3 catalyst with different TiO2 content were prepared by sol-gel method.The activity of HDN,HDS,HDA of the catalyst were investigated by seven typical compounds with high content in coal tar,combined with the results of BET?TEM?NH3-TPD?H2-TPR,the optimal catalyst was screened.The coal tar distillate?<300?,remove 170??210 ??was implemented over the optimal catalyst NiMoP/30%TiO2-Al2O3 under the reaction conditions of temperature 360 ?,pressure 6Mpa,volume space velocity 0.8h-1 and hydrogen/oil ratio 1500:1.After the hydrogenation,the S and N content in coal tar decreased to 37.25ppm and 48.76ppm respectively,and the H/C molar ratio increased from 1.30 to 1.66.
