A Research Of The Art Forms Of Tassels In Modern Garment Design

Bohemian style is always on the frontier of the garment fashion design, in which, the application of tassels matches the material and spiritual needs of modern people. This paper analyses the design application of tassels using deformation, destruction and integration in apparel modeling. The meaning and the modern application of tassels, the decorative function of Bohemian style tassels, the various application in modern garment, methods and aesthetic forms of tassel design under constructionism are discussed. Finally, works of garment designs with tassel elements are used to demonstrate the writer's understandings, and the inner essence of tassel element garments is also explored, thus provides some implication to the research of the basic theory of tassel style garment design.
