Inorganic ceramic membrane with its high temperature resistance,acid and alkali resistance,good chemical stability,and many other advantages,is widely used in textile,electronics,metallurgy,petroleum,industrial waste water,food and other fields.With the development of science and technology,its application will be further expanded.Silicon carbide materials has many advantages such as high strength,high temperature resistance,corrosion resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient,this determine the silicon carbide ceramic membrane will be more widely used.In recent years,the production technology of silicon carbide become more mature,the diversification of the synthesis method,low price and the high quality of silicon carbide materials,above all,the silicon carbide ceramic membrane will have broad market prospects.The research target of this experiment is to prepare the high strength and controllable pore diameter of porous silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic membrane support,and the controllable pore size of membranes.System studied the impact of the sintering temperature,the ratio of the experiment,silicon carbide particle size on the performance of the porous silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic membrane support,also study the factors that affect film thickness and membrane pore size.The main research content is as follows:(1)Researched the extrusion molding process,determined the kind and the amount of plasticizer,determined the mixing,pug,souring and extrusion conditions,simple analysis the different apparent performance of the silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic when it have the different water content,the optimum water consumption is 27%.(2)Systematic analysis the influence of the sintering temperature,different experimental ratio on the performance of the porous silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic,such as flexural strength,porosity,pore diameter size and distribution,and the influence of the pure water flux.When the number of the SiC was FA08,the optimum sintered temperature was 2200?,when the SiC content was 90wt%,the ceramic support had the optimum performance.(3)Under the condition of the best sintering temperature and the best formula,the experiment researched the influence of the different kinds of silicon carbide on the properties of porous silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic,found that different kinds of silicon carbide had great influence on the pore size distribution,breaking strength and the pure water flux,and the pore size distribution had extending trend to the direction of large aperture.(4)Determined the preparation technology of the coating slurry,determined the optimal coating time is 8s,study the slurry concentration and the different kinds of silicon carbide influence on the film thickness,analyzed the changes of the membrane pore size and microstructure under the temperature of 1400 ? and 2000 ?(5)studied the influence of the PCS content on the membrane pore diameter size and distribution,as the PCS quantity to increase,the average pore diameter of the ceramic membrane would reduce,and the pore distribution become more narrow,when the PCS quantity was 10wt%,the SiC number was FA10,the average pore diameter size of the ceramic membrane is 0.225?m.
