Printing and dyeing industry is an important part of China's textile industry chain, but in the process of production, sewage discharge will cause severe environmental pollution. Promoting and implementing the policy of energy conservation and sewage discharge reduction in our country put very high requirements on the enterprise cost control. A secure, stable, and reliable dyeing water treatment control system can ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise.In this paper, a waste water treatment control system has been analyzed and designed according to the characteristics of the dyeing and printing water treatment process. First, the design scheme is discussed to determine the overall design, the relevant control mode, system module composition, function and the connection between the various modules. The solutions to the system are given.Secondly, the hardware and software design of the printing and dyeing water treatment control system has been done. According to the harmful substances in wastewater, the hardware devices involved in the control system were analyzed. The system hardware configuration and the resource allocation are made. The advanced PLC controler is used in this system. The PLC in the whole operation control is programmed in STEP 7 programming software. The convenient and flexible system configuration can be implemented according to the control requirement. For running status information of water treatment systems, the WinCC configuration software is used to real-time monitoring of the whole system.Finally, through system simulation debugging in the laboratory, the system commissioning and the result analysis, this system has the functions of signal collection, history curve and real-time alarm. The system can make timely judgment on the problems in production and processing, meeting the design needs and achieving the goal of the industrial automation production.
