Synthesis And Application Of Ambient Temperature Curing Polyurethane Acrylate Emulsion

Water-based paints using water as the dispersion medium,which have safe and environmentally friendly features,is an important direction for future development of the coating.This paper describes the developments of the submarine cabin decorative paint,types and applications of commonly used self-crosslinking system at room temperature,as well as the modification points of polypropylene ester.On the basis of relevant literature data,this study was designed to synthesize polyurethane containing active ketone carbonyl group,used it modifying polyacrylate,then prepared a room temperature curing urethane acrylate water-based paint using the principle of cross-linked ketone hydrazine.The main content of this paper includes the following sections:⑴With HDI,PEG400,DMPA,DHBP,HEA as the main raw material synthesized containing the ketone carbonyl and double bond-terminated urethane functional monomer(PUA-kt).We have determined the optimal reaction time,studyed the R value,the impact of the amount of DMPA and the amount of DHBP on the stability and performance of PUA-kt emulsion,and through 1HNMR,FT-IR characterizations verified the synthesis of the desired product.⑵With PUA-kt,MMA,EA,APS,ADH and other synthesized one-component and ambient temperature self-crosslinking polyurethane acrylate emulsion.We researched the amount of emulsifier,PUA-kt and ADH,selected suitable pH value adjusting agent,studied the improvement of film-forming effect of emulsion,and conducted FT-IR,TEM,TGA analysis.⑶We prepared a good performance of white water-based decorative paint by using synthesized polyurethane-acrylic emulsion as the base material,appropriate fillers and additives.Paper studied on selection of pigments and fillers,pigment to binder ratios,aluminum tripolyphosphate and zincphosphate ratio,selection and compatibility of some additives.The prepared coatings has the following characteristics: a smooth and matte film,dry time: 2h,adhesion: level 1,flexibility: 2mm,impact strength: 50 cm,pencil hardness: 2H,water resistance: 23 d,oil resistance: 50 h,resistant to salt spray:300h.
