Development And Application Of Gravure Plate Making Technology

The origin and development of plate-making technology is an important subject in the study of printing history. In this paper, based on the previous research, from the perspective of data research, document combing and experimental analysis of the gravure plate-making technology to sort out, combined with historical research to explore the history of gravure plate technology since ancient times, gravure plate history provides a new way of thinking.In this paper, the history and the important events in the literature are taken as the main line. Combining with the historical data and the related literature, the development process of hand-engraving and gravure-engraving technology from the 15 th century to the 18 th century is mainly combed. The development of intaglio plate, the technology of engraving gravure and laser engraving and gravure engraving, and the development trend of gravure engraving technology in the future.
