The large mining equipment of open-pit mines requires high voltage power supply up to several thousands of volts.Because the transformer substations are usually far away from the excavation sites,transmission lines need to be formed by a mobile substation and several mobile switchgears that are connected with cables.The unsatisfactory connection status frequently relates to the lines' movement,which depends on the operational equipment's locations.In order to ensure the safety of production,the ground connection must be reliable;otherwise it will cause casualties or equipment damage accidents.Currently,domestic products of real-time monitoring of ground-wire in open-pit mine have some problems,such as low intelligent degree,high false alarm rates and inaccuracy locating.Foreign products are usually more expensive,which is not a suitable option for some of small Chinese companies.In this context,based on the practical demand of Shanxi Pingshuo open-pit mine,this paper designs a system that uses embedded technology to improve the real-time monitoring of ground-wire connection status in open-pit mines and detecting the fault locating.It shortens the time of maintenance and promotes work efficiency.First,this paper designs the integral structure of the system and a line-fault monitoring device,elaborates a fault location detecting scheme and a adaptive strategy,which includes an adaptive sorting method to avoid the data collision in power carrier communication.Furthermore,this communication strategy defines a communication protocol and designs an adaptive relay transmission method achieving the uploading of data.Secondly,this paper designs a hardware circuit and corresponding embedded monitoring software for main monitoring device,detection control device and stabilized voltage terminal based on the system functional requirements.In order to realize the adaptive sorting method of communication strategy,the power circuit of detection control device contains a relay to control the power-on sequence;embedded software considers the voltage calibration method to ensure that each device has the same reference when it is detecting voltage changes,and the limiting filtering algorithm to overcome the voltage sampling bias.Finally,the functional test and performance test of the system are carried out based on the design requirements of the users.In order to facilitate the relevant personnel far away from the scene and to see the scene lines at any time,this paper further designs the computer terminal and mobile terminal remote query software.This system is at the stage to be implemented in Pingshuo open-pit mine.We expect this system plays a significant role in ensuring safety of production and improving production efficiency.
