In the present dissertation, we investigate the ability and characteristics of the red mud and highly mineralized mine wastewater in desulfurization and denitrification to obtain a stable, high-efficiency and low-cost desulfurization and denitrification integration technology. Another objective of this study is to provide technical support to improve the comprehensive utilization of multi-channels for the red mud and mine wastewater. The main conclusions are drawn as follows:?1? The desulfurization characteristics of red mud and mine wastewater absorbent were studied. The results showed that when the red mud concentration in the sorbent was 12%, the flue gas flow was 40 L/min and liquid gas ratio was 20 L/m3, the desulfurization process parameters of red mud-mine wastewater absorbent were suitable. Besides, the desulphurization ability of the absorbent was less affected by the concentration of SO2, which was more consistent with the actual requirements of industrialization.?2? The conditions of the red mud and mine wastewater absorbent in continuous desulphurization reaction were studied. Results showed that when the p H value down to 5.8, 15% of the absorber was more suitable, indicating that under this update rate, the absorbent was more consistent with the actual requirements of industrialization, characterized by stability and efficiency.?3? The denitration characteristics of red mud and mine wastewater absorbent were studied. Results showed that the denitration characteristics of red mud and mine wastewater absorbent was not consistent with industrialization requirements of the simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification but the NaClO2 oxidation could improve the ability of denitrification and changed the denitrification characteristics.?4? The denitrification characteristics of red mud and mine wastewater absorbent combined the NaClO2 were studied. Results showed that when the red mud concentration in the sorbent was more than 10%, the flue gas flow was 30 L/min, liquid gas ratio was 25 L/m3, liquid absorbent under the temperature was 50 ?, absorbent pH value was 6. the denitration process parameters of absorbent was more suitable and was consistent with industrialization requirements.?5? The ability in simultaneously continuous desulfurization and denitrification of red mud and mine wastewater absorbent NaClO2 was studied. Results showed that in the optimal conditions, the average desulfurization efficiency of the absorbent is more than 99.0% in continuous reaction and the average denitration efficiency ranged from 40.0% to 42.0%, indicating that and it can realize the simultaneously consecutive desulfurization and denitration reaction, characterized by stability and efficiency.
