Climate change and tourism has mutual influences on each other, the development of the tourism industry is constraint by the environmental and climatic changes, meanwhile, tourism also plays an essential role in climate change. With more and more human activities act on nature, influence on resources and environment become more and more profound, which caused the accelerated degeneration of ecological system. The international climate change and tourism conference was held in Davos, Switzerland 2007, pointed out that due to the increasing of services related to tourism, including transportation, posts and telecommunications, accommodation, catering and other related services activities, CO2 emissions account for 4%-6%of the global CO2 emissions. If proper solutions not be taken in the next 30 years, CO2 emissions will increase by 1.5 times, the impact of climate change on the tourism sector will become more and more obvious. In order to achieve sustainable development, spheres of ecological environment and tourism should be colsely related and also.. Appropriate policies should be carried out to reduce or even eliminate the negative effects brought by these two.In this paper, the "tourism consumption stripping factor" is introduced, nd then carbon emission from the tourism industry can be separated from that of the entire national economy, so that the carbon footprint is calculated.. Take the 2005-2013 and 2005-2014 Guangdong Province Tourism carbon footprint as original sequence, and by comparing the Carbon emission caused by and the income brought tourism in Guangdong Province, we found that the tourism income and carbon footprint showed a high positive correlation, and the correlation coefficient was0.986.According to Grey GM(1,1) model, 2014-2019 carbon footprint in Guangdong Province has been predicted. On the assumption that the policy of Guangdong Province and the country will not change, to 2019, the CO2 emissions in the toruism of Guangdong Province will reach6428 million tons. Finally, according to previous estimates of Guangdong Province Tourism carbon footprint, he positive and negative externalities and sustainable development of Guangdongprovince is introduced in this paper to analyze its potential of development. In view of the emission reduction requirements of the tourism industry in Guangdong Province, the specific and feasible policy recommendations are put forward.
