Under the current society,the pollution in the textile printing and dyeing industry is growing. Activated carbon fibers(ACF) have the rich pore structure, large specific Surface area, strong adsorption capacity,good chemical stability,highmechanical strength, Regeneration after failure. This subject prepared 6 cellulose-based ACF of different kinds and electrospun PAN nano ACF to research on the adsor--ption effect of wastewater,and discussed the preparation process’ s effect on ACF and the adsorption of micro factors with FTIR,SEM,XRD,BET,UV anti-sun and elements analysis; decided the adsorptiondifferences on wastewater through preparing activated carbon cloth and then comparing with activated carbon fiber; researched the effect of TiO2 on the adsorption performance combining light catalytic principle.First of all,6 kinds of cellulose-based ACFs were prepared. Technical means were taken for its characterization and analysis. The results are:the crystalstructure of AC Fs are similar and the ACFs all have graphite composition;fiber distribution is uniform,a perture concentrates and dominated by micropores. After adsorp--tion experiments,find th at the effects of adsorption on methylene blue areas follows: kapok-based ACF> bamboobased ACF>ramie-based ACF> cotton-based ACF> viscose-based ACF>rayon-based ACF.Secondly, the kapok/viscose-based activated carbon cloth was prepared by the same process. Studied the effect of different ratios on structure and adsorption properties of activated carbon cloth and got the best ratio. Experimental results show that the oxygen content of activated carbon is only less than the carbon making the activated carbon cloth high activity and good catalytic properties;a number of micropores of activated carbon cloth increases with kapok component and the apertur e becomes smaller. When the ratio is 9:1, the adsorption properties are best.Again, the kapok/viscose nonwoven electrospun fiber membrane was loaded with nano Ti O2 by sol-gel. Found that: the Ti O2-loaded activity carbon cloth didn’t generate new functional groupsin preparation process,means that Ti O2 didn’t form covalent bonding with fibers;with TiO2 contentincreasing, TiO2 moved from attached o n activated carbon fiber surface to internalpores,reducing the specific surface area and p-ore volume; according to the XRD figure, the crystal type of Ti O2 is mostly anatase; the best impregnating time for the preparation is 7, removing wastewater entirely.Finally,electrospun PAN/Ti O2 nano fiber was maked and studied by many technologies and its adsorption properties were also researched. And it was made ACF and compared the effects of different load on performance.
