The 211 Z aluminum alloy is a new type of high-strength cast aluminum alloy material of Al-Cu-Mn-Cr-Re series. To reduce the cost of smelting and improve the physical and mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy material greatly, the industrial pure aluminum which contains rare earth metals such as Ce, La, Pr, etc. is used as t he purity aluminum. Because of these advantages, 211 Z aluminum alloy has a wide applicable prospect in high-end military and civilian industries such as aerospace, machinery, transportation, communication, high-tech building structure, etc. The strong ability of plastic deformation leads to a certain particularity of the processing of 211 Z.The processing of milling 211 Z aluminum alloy is the research object in this subject. The effect of process parameters(tool teeth, spindle speed, feed rate, cutting depth, cutting width) on cutting process and surface quality in the process of end milling 211 Z aluminum alloy is studied. Both FEM and the experiments are adopted in this subject. The influencing regulation of process parameters on cutting force, cutting temperature, surface roughness and residual stress is obtained by the single factor experiment, the orthogonal experiment, as well as the cutting parameters which can be used to get smaller lower surface roughness. Prediction model of effects of process parameters on surface roughness is established. And the feasibility of this model is verified by F-test. Comparing with the results of the simulation and the experiments, it is found that the changing regulation has a good consistency. It proves that through the simulation, the influence of various indicators under different milling parameters in practical processing can be predicted better.The development of the subject not only provides the evidence for the selection of the process parameters of 211 Z aluminum alloy milling processing,but it also provides some reference value for improvement and optimization of the machining accuracy, surface quality, product quality and milling process. All above has important practical significance for taking advantage of the material properties of 211 Z aluminum alloy, building adaptive manufacturing technology, promoting the promotion and application of the material. |
