Abstract/Summary:
The dispersion of silica has a great influence on the properties of its reinforcing rubber. In order to increase the silica dispersion in rubber, in the paper, the reactive wet milling method was used to prepare the solution polymerized styrene butadiene/silica rubber latex. The anionic polymerization method was used to synthesize SBR and four times of SiCl4 terminated, then after end sealing of SBR liquid and silica mixed at high speed in ball mill, the branch link SBR to silica by chlorine silane and hydroxyl groups in the surface of silica reaction, styrene butadiene segment firmly combination can prevent the ball milling dispersion of silica together again, finally achieve the purpose of stable dispersion. The rubber with silica bond also increased the affinity of hybrid material and the reinforcing rubber. Styrene-butadiene rubber molecular weight was studied, the dosage of silica, the ball mill mixing time, factors such as different preparation technology of silica dispersion and rubber processing performance.The results showed that:Silicon tetrachloride sealing side can styrene-butadiene polymer with hydroxyl groups on the surface of the silica reaction, preparation of styrene butadiene polymer grafting modification. Wet ball mill of sealing and styrene-butadiene rubber prepared by graft modification of white carbon black can effectively reduce the number of hydroxyl groups on the surface of the silica, abate reunion phenomenon, dispersion improving. When sealing and styrene butadiene rubber and white carbon black mass ratio of 1:1, the amount of styrene butadiene rubber material is 80000, ball grinding time is 8h, reinforcement of white carbon black dispersion in rubber is best, reunion phenomenon and Payne effect is not obvious, most less friction heating under large deformation. When the white carbon black and sealing and styrene-butadiene rubber mass ratio of 1:1, styrene butadiene rubber material quantity is 80000, ball grinding time is 8h styrene-butadiene rubber latex/silica reinforcing rubber performance improved.
