Chloroacetyl chloride is an important chlorine product. Chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust contains a variety of toxic and hazardous substances, the main component of which is hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide. Hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide are typically environment-harmful gases, not only can cause human respiratory tract disease, but also can lead to acid rain, causing ecosystems damage. While increasing the production scale, the manufacturers should establish the pollution prevention awareness, and strengthen the research of chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust treatment technology, in order to minimize and avoid the environmental damage and destruction.The current widely used chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust treatment process is direct water absorption process in the manufacturers of our country. Moreover, the organic solvents absorption process and compression separation process are in studying. Based on the existing research, this thesis mainly studies on the water absorption process optimization, and proposes using the condensation separation process to treat the chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust.Suspended bed filter experiment studies show that the suspended bed filter has a superior filtering capability to the traditional process and equipment, the treatment effect is much higher than the separation sedimentation tank. At the same time, the suspended bed filter has the advantages of easy backwashing, simple operation, suitable for industrial continuous production, and so on. Therefore, the suspended bed filter can be used to replace the traditional sedimentation tank, so as to optimize the chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust water absorption process.Nanofiltration experiment results show that nanofiltration treatment on chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust water absorbing liquid can significantly reduce the amount of sulfuric acid, which from nearly 20% to 8.5% or less of the acid component in the industry hydrochloric acid product, thereby, improve the purity of hydrogen chloride, and optimize the composition structure of industrial hydrochloric acid product. Experimental studies show that optimized water absorption process can effectively reduce chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust emissions, while, can produce the composition structure optimized industrial hydrochloric acid product, with good economic, environmental and social benefits.Condensate separation theoretical analysis and calculation results show that the condensation separation process has its advantages when treating the chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust in environmental protection, feasibility and economy, compared to the water absorption process, organic solvent absorption process, and compression separation process. With liquid chlorine, which is the raw material of chloroacetyl chloride synthesis, as condensing agent, the hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide separation of chloroacetyl chloride synthesis exhaust are theoretically feasible using the condensation separation process. With liquid chlorine, which is the raw material of chloroacetyl chloride synthesis, as condensing agent, the condensation separation process can also achieve the energy recycle and avoid the energy waste.
