Metal-Oganic Frameworks is a new class of three-dimensional reticular structure crystalline material with a large porosity(up to 0.9),high surface are(up to 6000 m2·g-1) and tunable structure, composed by self-assembly metal clusters and organic ligand containing nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen. These properties make MOFs of a potential type of functional material. MOFs are often used in gas storage and separation, and heterogeneous catalysis. Recently, some researchers have also begun to pay more attention to exploring the potential of MOFs as chemical sensors. MOFs will be a very important alternative materials in the chemical sensors area, because of its tunability of the structures and properties. The main contents are as follows:1.A new type of composite material was synthesized by combining dye and MOF. The synthesized material was characterized by XRD,FITR,TGA,N2 adsorption. The experiment results show that this MOF has a excellent effect of sensing iron ion.2. Another new composite material was synthesized, and this MOF also has an excellent effect of sensing iron ion, but the mechanism is different.3. In order to explore the potential application of MOFs as chemical sensors for sensing anion, we synthesized a composite material Tb@UiO-66-2COOH. It has a strong fluorescence and good water stability. What is more, it can efficiently sense iodide ions.
