Since the 21 st century,with the increasing of global energy crisis and environmental pollution,many new treatment methods come into people's horizons.Photocatalysis has becoming very popular because of the simplicity and efficiency.FeVO4 and BiVO4 are new potential photocatalysts under the visible light which has attracted wide attention.Therefore,the preparation,characterization of FeVO4 and BiVO4 are investigated in the work due to the good application prospect,Paracetamol and methylene blue were selected as the model pollutants to evaluate the catalysis of FeVO4 and BiVO4 with visible light as light source.The main research work was concluded as follows.?1?Preparation and properties of FeVO4 photocatalyst.FeVO4 catalyst was prepared by liquid phase precipitation method.It was found that calcination temperature play a key role in the morphology of FeVO4.The crystal phase structure,grain appearance and chemical composition characteristics were characterized by XRD,SEM,XPS.The results demonstrated that FeVO4 showed high photodegradation of paracetamol,and resulted in 96% removal efficiency after eight hours.?2?Preparation and properties of BiVO4 photocatalyst.BiVO4 was synthsized by hydrothermal method.The conditions of preparation such as pH,hot water temperature and hydrothermal time were optimized.XRD was used to characterize the crystal structure and particle appearance of BiVO4.The results depicted that 25%degradation of methylene blue was achieved in 60 min under the optimum conditions:pH = 2.0,hot water temperature is 220 ?,hydrothermal time is 24 h.?3?Preparation and properties of FeVO4/BiVO4 photocatalyst.The method of hydrothermal preparation was used for the preparation of FeVO4/BiVO4,which was featured with SEM,XRD,TEM,DRS and XPS.Under the same conditions,FeVO4/BiVO4 showed higher photocatalytic degradation efficiency methylene blue in the 60 min reached 69%,which is higher than pure BiVO4 or FeVO4.?4?FeVO4/BiVO4 properties of Light-Fenton.The preparation conditions of were optimized including pH,catalyst dosage,hydrogen peroxide concentration.It was found that the treatment efficiency of methylene blue treatment efficiency wasachieved to 94% under the optimal conditions of pH=3.0,catalyst dosing quantity is0.20 g,hydrogen peroxide concentration of 50 mg·L-1,Bi: Fe =1:1.The resuluts further revealed that FeVO4/BiVO4 was stable eventhough after three times of application in the degradation process of methylene blue.
