Nanomaterials are one kind of the most promising materials in the twenty-first Century,which have attracted significant research interest.Semiconductor CdS nanostructures have more excellent optical and electrical properties than the bulk materials due to the quantum size effect,and they have been widely used in photocatalysis,solar cells,luminescent and so on.In this dissertation,we focused on the study of CdS nanomaterials.The flower-like Cd S nanostructure,various morphologies of CdS nanomaterials,the core-shell ZnS@CdS nanocomposites and the cobalt-doped flower-like CdS nanomaterials have been synthesized successfully.Furthermore,we systematically explored the photocatalytic activities and the photoelectric response performance of these materials.The main contents are as follows:1?Uniform flower-like CdS was successfully fabricated by a facile one-pot hydrothermal approach without any templates or additives.Cadmium chloride?CdCl2·2.5H2O?and thioglycollic acid?TGA?were used as a sulfur source and a cadmium source respectively.The formation process of the flower-like structure was investigated in detail.We also studied the photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared flower-like CdS material for the photodegradation of various organic dyes and the photoelectric response performance.2?Three kinds of CdS nanostructures were successfully prepared by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method.Cadmium chloride?CdCl2·2.5H2O?,ammonia water?NH3·H2O?and thioglycollic acid?TGA?were used as the starting materials with different water/ethylenediamine volume ratios.The photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared products for the photodegradation of various organic dyes was investigated in detail.3 ? The core-shell ZnS@CdS nanocomposites were successfully synthesized by a facile hydrothermal route,using as-prepared flower-like CdS nanostructure as core,cadmium chloride?CdCl2·2.5H2O?,ammonia water?NH3·H2O?,thioglycollic acid?TGA?and zinc nitrate hexahydrate?Zn?NO3?2·6H2O?as the starting materials.The photocatalytic activity and the photoelectric response performance of the core-shell ZnS@CdS nanocomposites were studied.4 ? The Co-doped flower-like CdS nanomaterials?CoxCd1-xS?were successfully fabricated by a facile hydrothermal approach,using cadmium chloride?CdCl2·2.5H2O?,ammonia water?NH3·H2O?,thioglycollic acid?TGA?and cobalt nitrate hexahydrate?Co?NO3?2·6H2O?as the starting materials.The photoelectric response performance of the as-prepared CoxCd1-x S was investigated.
