Peroxydisulfate,as a commom co-reactant,have attracted considerable attention in recent years. The cathode electrochemiluminescence?ECL?intensity of pure peroxydisulfate is relatively weak, which limit its analytical application. In this paper, the ECL of silver ion/peroxydisulfate system and the analytical applications for determination of silver ion, parachlorophenol, glutathione were investigated. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:?1?The ECL of S2O82-was enhanced in the presence of Ag+.A sensitive and simple ECL method for detection of silver ion was proposed based on enhancement of silver ion on the ECL of peroxydisulfate. The proposed method showed a good linear relationship between ECL intensity and silver ion concentration in the range of 4500 nM with a detection limit of 2.5 nM.In addition, the method was used for the determination of silver ion in practial samples such as water, tea and bean sprout.?2?Based on the quenching of parachlorophenol on the ECL of Ag+/K2S2O8 system,a simple, sensitive and selective approach for detection of parachlorophenol was developed.A linear range from 4.280 pM and a detection limit of 1.4 pM were obtained for detection of parachlorophenol. The method was simple,low-cost and can be used for parachlorophenol detection in real water sample.?3?A simple ECL method for detection of glutathione was proposed. With increasing the concentration of glutathione the ECL intensity of Ag+/K2S2O8 system was decreased.A linear range from 20360 pM with a detection limit of 13 pM were obtained for detection of glutathione. The proposed method is convenient,low-cost and sensitive, which can be applied for the detection of glutathione in human serum.
