| The melt electrospinning has attracted great attention of the academy and industry because it is solvent-free, environmentally friendly, high efficient and stable when compared with solution electrospinning. In recent years, there has been a leap forward development in this area. However, the melt electrospinning technique failed to achieve industrialization, which seriously hampered its development. One of the key factors hindering industrialization is that the degree of automation of equipment is not highly enough, and the research of melt electrospinning control system is still in its infancy. The core study of this paper is melt electrospinning control system and we take current control as the pointcut to expand research. The main research contents include the following:1. In order to develop a melt electrospinning spinning current online diagnostic control system, three kinds of thermoplastic material which is different in polarity for studying the current characteristics during the melt electrospinning process. The three representative materials we chose are polyethylene, polylactic acid and cellulose diacetate, and the experimental melt electrospinning devices we used is designed by our laboratory. When performing the experiment, we observed the spinning process, recording the actual current and no-load current data in form. Then, spinning samples were collected, which will be characterized by SEM test.2. On the basis of our study, the specific scheme of the on-line current diagnosis of melt electrospinning with polypropylene material was established. Through spinning experiments, we use the actual current data we obtained and theoretical current value to analysis the current characteristics by Origin software. Then we can get a series of functions about the current, which will be set into the PLC program. In later spinning process, PLC control system can adjust the current using the function data stored in it. Combining with human-machine interface software, the system adopts PLC as a controller, can control the spinning current by adjusting spinning distance, spinning nozzle temperature and high voltage electrostatic generator, which help to achieve online diagnostic feedback control during the current melt electrospinning. The on-line control can be achieved by custom-voltage electrostatic generator having external control port.3. The work of desigining online diagnosis of current feedback control system, includes feedback control system designing, the choice of components and modules, control circuit diagram drawing, control panel designing, and the program written. The current plays an important role in the performance of spinning and the spinning characteristics. |
