Facility layout is a research field valued and concerned in industrial engineering. Most of all, the condition of workshop facility layout has direct influence on logistics, information flow, production capacity, production cost and production safety in the whole workshop. Good facility layout can lower the operation costs in the workshop but increase production efficiency. Therefore, it is considered as one of the prerequisites for successful corporation production. With disciplinary development and further researches in domestic and overseas, study on workshop facility layout in manufacturing industry has made great progress. But study on workshop facility in chemical enterprise especially relevant studies on poisonous and harmful substances' influence on the environment and staffs during the materials handling process are very few.Based on this, this article has made a detailed and scientific research and design on some critical problems existing in workshop facility in chemical industry production. Main contents are as below:Take phosphoric acid manufacturing workshop in L Company as example, collect all-round information and materials in workshop P, Q, R, S and T, and based on the particularity of the research object, chemical production workshop, combines the material environmental harm coefficient and logistics equivalent during the transportation process, to propose the concept of environmental logistics quantity and then apply this concept into SLP analysis procedure.Make studies on the characteristics and requirements of facility layout in phosphoric acid manufacturing workshops, improve on the basis of mixed integer programming model, and establish a mathematical model meeting the requirement of facility layout in phosphoric acid manufacturing workshops.During the process of applying BBPS into mathematical model for solution, propose trans-border disposal and particle inspection mechanism. Combined with the ideology of greedy algorithm, present GBBPS to solve the problem of workshop facility layout. And then use BBPS and GBBPS respectively to get the solution to mathematical model. After comparing these two algorithms with SLP analysis method, obtain the program to prove that improved GBBPS has superiority in solving the problem of workshop facility layout, and then work out the layout scheme which can meet the project requirement.
