As a new type of phenolic resin, polybenzoxazine has attracted much attention owing to its outstanding thermal properties, low dielectric properties, flame retardant and so on. On the other hand, the fluorine-containing polymer possesses various good properties, such as high thermal stability, chemical stability, low dielectric constant, etc.. Then, it's reasoned that the introduction of a fluorine-containing group, especially a polymerizable fluorine-containing group, into benzoxazine monomer may increase the thermal and mechanical properties of the corresponding polybenzoxazines. The main contents are shown as follows:In chapter 1, a novel benzoxzaine monomer containing perfluoroalkyl iodide group was synthesized. The chemical structures were identified by'H NMR,19F NMR, FTIR and HRMS. The curing reaction of the perfluoroalkyl iodide-containing benzoxazine monomer was monitored by DSC and FTIR. The thermal properties of the corresponding polybenzoxazines were evaluated by DSC and TGA.In chapter 2, a novel benzoxzaine monomer containing trifluorovinyloxy group was synthesized. The chemical structures were identified by'H NMR,19F NMR and FTIR. The curing reaction of the trifluorovinyloxy benzoxazine monomer was monitored by DSC and FTIR. The thermal properties of the corresponding polybenzoxazines were evaluated by DSC and TGA.In chapter 3, various effect factors on the synthesis of phenol-ddm-BZ (P-ddm), including reaction solvent, reactant ratios, reaction temperature and time, pH value of the reation mixture, were investigated in detail in order to obtain the optimal reaction conditions.
