| Commercially available color pigment ink using a conventional dispersion techniques.These inks,pigment reaches the desired particle size distribution and colloidal stability in the presence of a suitable dispersing agent or other form of milling.Pigment by added a polymer or surfactant as a dispersant having some inherent limitations include: composition limits,poor stability,particle size limitations,and contamination problem.And the forces of the outside world is not lively,with little affinity for the application medium.Advantages of self-dispersing ink is formulation flexibility,without dispersant,and excellent reliability.Self-dispersing pigment is technically possible to adjust the surface properties of the pigment and imparting function,the physical properties of the pigment dispersion has a high surface tension(70~ dyne / cm),low viscosity(<2.5 cps,10% solids),high colloid stability,high purity(material covalently linked).In this thesis,by the chemical modification on diazo reaction,use a solids content of 30.46% of Pigment Red 122 cake as the initial raw material,which was firstly treated in sonic oscillator.Secondly,the mixed solution of sulfanilic acid,NaNO2,and HCl were synthesized at 60 oC.Then,Pigment Red 122 raw material,which was treated in sonic oscillator,was poured into the mixed solution,obtained the modified pigment paste,and the modified Pigment Red 122 powder was obtained by a drying method.Excess salt was isolated by filtration with deionized water.The effect of the modified Pigment Red 122 was characterized by means of IR,SEM,and Zata potential,etc.The results show that the modified Pigment Red 122 processes the high specific surface tension,small particle radius,and good dispersal stability. |
