In recent years, the environmental pollution is a serious problem. The quality of atmosphere, soil and water becomes worse and worse. Therefore, the problem of water pollution causes people's attention.People try to control environmental pollution, including the management of water pollution. In this paper, two kinds of modified cellulose paper were synthesized and used for extraction of nitrophenols from oil solution,in addition, two novel imidazolium ionic liquids-modified silica adsorbents were synthesized and used for extraction of phenolic compounds from aqueous solution. This work is useful for the treatment of water pollution. There are six parts as follows. In chapter 1,the harm of phenolic pollutants, the extraction and determination techniques of phenolic compounds were summarized. And the objective, significance and innovation points of the research were also elucidated. In chapter 2,the dopamine hydrochloride,tris-(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and cellulose paper were used for synthesis of modified cellulose paper. The dopamine modified cellulose paper was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR),Scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)elemental analysis. The modified cellulose paper was used for extraction of 2,4-dinitrophenol and 4-nitrophenol from oil solution.Different parameters such as extraction time, desorption time, desorption volume, desorption solvent type and the volume of NaOH were studied and optimized. And the oil samples were also investigated. In chapter 3,1-benzylimidazole ionic liquid,3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane and cellulose paper were used for synthesis of modified cellulose paper. The 1-benzylimidazolium ionic liquid modified cellulose paper was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR),Scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)elemental analysis. In chapter 4,1-allyl-3-octadecylimidazolium bromide ionic liquid was modified by 1-allylimidazole and 1-bromooctadecane,then porous silica was chemically modified with 1-allyl-3-octadecylimidazolium bromide ionic liquid by taking 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane as the silane coupling agent to obtain the 1-allyl-3-octadecylimidazolium-modified silica.Subsequently, the modified silica was characterized by various techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR),BET analysis and Elemental analysis.Experimental conditions such as pH,concentration of phenolic compounds, adsorbent dose, extraction time, temperature and salt were investigated for the static adsorption of 2,4-dinitrophenol,2-nitrophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol.And the dynamic adsorption behavior was also studied. In chapter 5,imidazole and 1-bromooctadecane were used for synthetic of 1-octadecylimidazolium bromide ionic liquid, then porous silica was chemically modified with 1-octadecylimidazolium bromide ionic liquid by taking 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane as the silane coupling agent to obtain the 1-octadecylimidazolium-modified silica.Subsequently, the modified silica was characterized by various techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR),BET analysis and Elemental analysis.Experimental conditions such as pH,concentration of phenolic compounds, adsorbent dose, extraction time, temperature and salt were investigated for the static adsorption of 2,4-dinitrophenol,2-nitrophenol,4-nitrophenol,2,4-dichlorophenol and 4-chlorophenol.And the dynamic adsorption behavior was also studied. In chapter 6,summary and outlook were introduced.
