| Dyes wastewater pollution has been a difficult problem in sewage treatment because of its high chromaticity, difficulty in biodegradation and containing a lot of organic compounds with biological toxicity. Photocatalytic oxidation technology because of its advantages of high efficient, environmental friendly, and pollutant degradation thoroughly, showing a good development prospect in the field of sewage treatment. In the research of photocatalytic oxidation technology, explore a photocatalytic material that with high catalytic activity, sensitive to the excitation light source, big surface area, good absorptivity and dispersibility has always been the core problem.In this paper, TiO2-CdS composite and TiO2-CdS/rGO ternary photocatalytic composite were synthetized by solvothermal method, and a variety of characterization methods such as XRD、TEM、BET、FT-IR、Raman, etc, have been used to study the materials. Through methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RhB) degradation experiment, the photocatalytic activity of TiO2-CdS and TiO2-CdS/rGO were studied. The photocatalytic degradation effect of different reaction time, Ti-Cd content ratio, rGO content, and the dosage of materials have been also investigated, and the photocatalytic degradation reaction kinetics and the reaction mechanism were also discussed. Researches show that TiO2-CdS and TiO2-CdS/rGO have excellent photocatalytic ability in the degradation of MB and RhB, the catalytic efficiency have raised more than 60% comparing with TiO2, the degradation time of pollutants can be greatly shorten, the photocatalytic degradation ability of TiO2-CdS/rGO is better than TiO2-CdS. Under visible light irradiation, the degradation rate of MB and RhB reached 100% with TiO2-CdS/rGO as the photocatalyst, when the reaction time is 40 min. |
