In manufacturing, production and application of stamping products has become increasingly widespread, the existing CNC punch press of structured sheet metal processing technology has been very mature, but real production based on cost considerations, production such as gaskets, hinges and other small metal pieces are still widely used plate leftover bits and pieces of manual operation to achieve. At the same time, the operation of the waste plate shape is uncertain, the automatic clamping challenge traditional CNC punch. In order to improve the backward modes of production, improve production safety and automation level, this paper presents of press feeding process of visual research, by the early shear plate will cut into scraps simple ordinary quadrilateral, through machine vision image processing to be the size parameters of the processing of sheet metal scraps, position coordinates and display posture, and other basic information, will be extracted to collate relevant information, editing, fused into motion control program, and input to the manipulator motion controller achieve control of the feeding process. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First of all, making a comprehensive analysis of the present development of the punch processing and machine vision technology, clear in the field of production of related issues, and put forward corresponding improvement scheme to solve the problem, introducing the machine vision technology, and the machine vision technology is introduced into the problem, and composition of the scheme and implementation arrangements are reviewed in this paper, clear the research content and direction.Secondly.designing and researching the method of image processing and analysis for the machine vision processing, and combined with the research of this topic, to determine the specific solution and process, Including image acquisition, image processing, image feature extraction, size measurement and other key content. Designing the feeding auxiliary which is indispensable for the visual processing and control system, and combined with existing experimental conditions to select the appropriate type of mechanical hand and motion controller, improve the design of important auxiliary hardware in visual inspection. Designing the machine vision control system,completing camera calibration and Taking the mechanical hand as the base point, the space coordinate transformation is carried out on the auxiliary device, the camera, the plate and the punch press, to establish a unified coordinate system,combined with the results of image processing and the unified coordinate, generating the final motion control program and program display and save.Finally, debugging the visual processing and control system of punch feeding manipulator by two aspects of hardware and software, in order to achieve established function and performance, and to optimize the design, improve system stability, reduce the cycle time of the system, improve the processing efficiency.
