Driven by the strong demand of the domestic market, the copper refining industry of china will maintain steady growth and usher in a period of accelerated development in the foreseeable future. As a main country that pulling metal products consumption, especially the higher demand for refined copper, it shows that preparation of refined copper becomes extremely important. Automatic quantitative casting machine is the equipment supporting copper refining furnace to cast the molten copper water and pour the molten copper water into anode plate for the subsequent preparation of refined copper.Based on the analysis of control system theory for quantitative copper anode casting, it designed the hardware structure of the casting system. It adopted the way that combined Siemens S7-300 series with the MCGS interface to achieve automatic control. The equipment components of the control system are selected, just as the weighing sensor, servo proportional valve, frequency converter, temperature sensor and micro printer, and the design of the overall scheme of the automatic quantitative casting system is completed.Based on the principle of automatic quantitative casting control system, the weighing platform of the quantitative casting equipment was designed. The weight data acquisition of the casting copper water by the weighing sensor is the necessary condition to ensure the operation of the programmable control PLC system. Through the analysis and selection of the weight signal acquisition mode, the method of weighing the signal acquisition by the weighing module is selected, and at the hardware level and software level, anti-interference measures are taken to improve the reliability and stability of the weight signal acquisition.The whole control process of quantitative casting of copper anode is controlled by PLC, so it needs to establish a smooth, stable casting curve and output adaptation of the voltage in order to control the precise action of the proportional valve of the hydraulic cylinder in each stage. Through the analysis of the control process, such as weight signal acquisition and process, it is combined with the PID feedback technology applied to each casting, making the casting process more stable, and achieving the effect of quantitative control casting.The hardware and software of the PLC control system for automatic quantitative casting of copper anode plate are designed. The selection of PLC module configuration was completedand the main input and output points were distributed. The hydraulic system circuit design of the control system disk and casting parts was completed. In addition, analog input and output module circuit and other components such as mini printer and touch screen were designed, and the function of each module of the control system was designed.The design of human machine interface of automatic quantitative casting equipment for copper anode plate was accomplished. Adopting MCGS touch screen, it realizes the communication between the touch screen and PLC. The interface, including the main interface, the casting curve, the scale of the school, the I/O point diagnosis and so on were designed in configuration, realizing the function of real time communication, parameter setting and monitoring. At the same time, the printing interface can make statistics and printing on the casting data, and can analyze the casting data better.The research results of this project have been applied in the field of automatic quantitative casting equipment of copper anode plate in a machine factory. Based on the data collected in the early stage of the construction site, the analysis of the statistics data of the casting was made. Aiming at the fluctuation and instability of the casting process, the improvement measures are taken, just as the logic of the time delay and weight acquisition points in the weighing time setting. Through different batches of copper anode plate of the statistics of the comparison, it can be observed that the system is stable, the ability to resist disturbance is gradually increased, and the casting stability, the pass rate has a substantial increase.
