Superhydrophobic surfaces have prosperous applications in many fields due to their excellent properties,such as water-repellency,selfcleaning,anti-icing,drag-reduction,anti-corrosion,and so on.Currently,some investigation progresses have been devoted to the study of fabrications and properties of superhydrophobic surfaces.However,the anti-icing researches on superhydrophobic surfaces are scanty.Thus,the anti-icing researches on superhydrophobic surfaces need to be reinforced.In this paper,the superhydrophobic surfaces were prepared by facile,time-saving and novel methods,and properties of wettability and antiicing of the as-prepared superhydrophobic surfaces were studied.The anti-icing mechanisms have been analyzed and discussed.The main investigation content and innovation are described as follows:?1?A superhydrophobic LDPE surface was prepared based on a facile,time-saving and novel method,burning candle and simple deposition on a low density polyethylene?LDPE?substrate.The water contact angle and sliding angle of the as-prepared superhydrophobic LDPE surface were respectively 160±2° and 1°.The wettability test of the superhydrophobic LDPE surface was performed under condensation.The results show that the as-prepared superhydrophobic LDPE surface could retain superhydrophobicity under condensation conditions.The reason of the as-prepared superhydrophobic LDPE surface remaining superhydrophobicity under condensation was analyzed by establishing models and observing the surface microstructure characteristics and the wettability under condensation conditions.?2?The PDMS/SiO2 coating was prepared using nano SiO2 and PDMS as raw materials at first,and then the prepared PDMS/ SiO2 coating was spared to the common epoxy composite surface.A superhydrophobic epoxy composite surface was obtained when the coating were solidified and dried.The anti-icing property was studied on the superhydrophobic epoxy composite surface,and the results showed that the anti-icing property of the superhydrophobic epoxy composite surface was better than the common epoxy composite surface.?3?A translucent emulsion was prepared using nano SiO2 and ethanol as raw materials at first,and then the translucent emulsion was sprayed onto a common glass surface.Effects of the mass fraction of SiO2 on water contact angle,sliding angle and optical transmission of the as-prepared surfaces were investigated.The results show that the asprepared superhydrophobic surface showed excellent water repellency,anti-pollution and transparency when the mass fraction of SiO2 was 1.5%.
