The release problem of large amount of heated and humidified odorous gas is harmful to the surrounding environment during the processing of tobacco leaves, in which much heat and wet is added, and this process also causes a lot of waste heat energy.From the point of the actual processing of the domestic tobacco production process, the following two problems need to be solved:First, how to treat the large amount of exhaust odorous gas with high temperature and humidity, and the reduction of its exhausting which will pollute the environment in the production process, i.e. the exhausting reduction problem; and second, waste heat recovery, to recovery the energy from the high temperature gas, namely, the problem of energy saving.In this thesis, the treatment of exhaust air and the waste heat recovery in tobacco stripping process is studied and the main contents of the paper covers the following,1) The theoretical analysis:the significance of the research is addressed which is based on the comprehensive analysis of the current home and abroad production process and the approaches for the treatment of exhaust odorous gas in tobacco stripping process and the utilization of the waste heat;2) The design of the treatment processing procedure and the prototype for a trial test:which including dusts collecting, odorous abatement, de-moistening in a tobacco stripping process. Firstly, the approach for the treatment in the stripping process should be decided. A cross flow washing technology is used in the de-dusting and low temperature plasma technology for the odorous treatment in the stripping process. From the point of statistical amount of the waste gas to be treated, the blower pipeline and the detailed design of dust and de-moistening facility are designed;3) The processing procedure and the prototype design of waste heat energy recovery:based on the previous waste heat recovery loss and the utilization of the behind absorption tower flow odorous treatment system, an improved processing procedure is put forward to better the recovery process of the heat gas with temperature of 55-60 degrees in stripping process by utilizing thermal mass circulation techniques;4) R & D of the control analysis system:part of the control systems is design and developed for the odorous abatement in dust collecting, de-moistening and odorous gas treatment, the utilization of the heat energy recovery;5) The proof of the experiments:the effectiveness of the odor abatement processing system is verified. The experimental results show that in the inlet section the smell odor concentration up to 3000-4000, which is 2000 more than the standards allowed. After odor treatment in the system, odor concentration in the outlet section can be controlled within 550, which are fully consistent with the requirements of our national emission standards. The experimental results show that the rate of 17.7% utilization of waste heat in the tobacco stripping processing is realized.
