Innovation And Practice Research Of Knitting Garment Design Based On The Theory Of Iconology

Iconology is a kind of knowledge approach that western artists and art historians use to explain modeling art and other modeling activities.Iconology is a standard polysemic word,in fact,the polysemy of Iconology is derived from the polysemic nature of image and the language.Iconology is the interpretation of the meaning of two levels: one is the literal meaning,the other is the hidden meaning of the words.Plato continued this statement in his works "the Stoics" and pointed that the hidden meaning of the words with the cosmological and ethical implications..For Greek philosophers,meaning communication objects made by people not only convey direct identification and recognition,but can also convey the implications that language cannot directly describe.Through iconological architecture,style and text related to the principles of Iconology as the breakthrough point,this topic has put Iconology into knitting garment design based on the analysis of Iconology historical approach.Through the review of the literature,I have found that most of the information about Iconological principles referenced to garment design is just graphic itself both at home and abroad and discusses the graphical forms referenced to fashion design that cause visual changes.This paper will combine the cultural connotation,aesthetic origin,aesthetic psychology with the theory of Iconology from multiple angles of Iconological mode of thinking and art design thinking,and make a comprehensive and systematic analysis and exploration.I hope to use the theory of Iconology in the design of knitted garment as the theoretical support to transform it into the language of knitting garment design,so that I can break the traditional thinking of knitwear design,seek new breakthrough point,combine the thinking of iconology and fashion design,conduct knitting garment creative design and reshape the visual form and wearing feeling of knitted garment.I intend to extract the architectural elements from the principles of Iconology and combine it with the knitting structure design through computer design of new knitted fabric.By the special knitting process and different materials' performance and innovative form of weaving,I intend to show the innovative interpretation of knitting garment design and apply it to garment design.We should have interdisciplinary design thinking,introduce diversified aesthetic thinking,use the symbolic meaning of Iconology to convey the design concept and cultural connotation and maximize the reflected Iconological connotation,cultural connotation and aesthetic value.Through case analysis,creative practice and constantly summary in practice,I would like to provide more room and possibilities for the shift of knitting language.
