| Being an important equipment to produce the green tires, the precision of rubber calender directly determines the quality of tires, and rubber calender is therefore indispensable in the rubber industry. Therefore, it is increasingly urgent to develop domestic rubber calenders with high precisions. The research purpose of this essay is to replace the screw transmitting manual adjustment mode currently utilized by domestic equipment with hydraulic roll gap automatic adjustment mode, and to promote automation of equipment in order to meet the development trend of modern rubber machinery, improve the processing accuracy of rubber products and reach the advanced international level.According to the research status of rubber calender at home and abroad, this essay takes roll gap adjustment device of’S’-type four-roll calender in rubber machines as research subjects, and designs the roll gap control system on the basis of a proportional control system that consists of high frequency response proportional valve and asymmetric hydraulic cylinder. The designed system is modeled and simulated via AMESim software, and variations in control accuracy of the roll gap with the changes of four different parameters are also studied.This essay is composed of several parts. The first part is introduction, mainly containing the development of rubber industry and rubber machinery, and the research status of calender equipment at home and abroad. The second part is an overview of the rubber calender, which is primarily about the basic composition of ’S’ type rubber calender, mainly introducing its main structure and major components. The third part is design and analysis of hydraulic system of the roll gap adjusting device in the rubber calender, including design, computing and type selection of the hydraulic system. The fourth part is modelling and theoretical basis of the roll gap adjustment device in the ’S’ type rubber calender, mainly consisting of basic theories in hydromechanics and model building by AMESim software. The fifth part is simulation results and the corresponding analysis, including the variations in control accuracy of the roll gap with the changes of three different parameters, and analysis of the relevant reasons. The research results in this essay could serve as practical references for development of similar products. |
