Abstract/Summary:
Temperature monitoring is an important means to guarantee the safe operation of mine cable. Distributed optical fiber is highly sensitive to temperature and has many prominent advantages against the electromagnetic interference, fire and explosion. In this consideration, "Design and Implementation of optical fiber composite cable mine" is proposed. The design and development of composite cable can help solve the monitoring difficult of mining cable.This paper takes lOkV high voltage mine cable as the study object and exerts on the theory of optical fiber temperature measurement and the mechanism of cable temperature conduction. Then, researches are launched on the structural design and simulation, manufacturing technology and experimental test of the optical fiber composite cable mine. In sequence, a new type of optical fiber composite cable mine is developed with type tests verified the feasibility of engineering application. The research results of this article are:(1) Study the measurement principle of optical fiber cable and the theory of heat transfer in order to clarify the optical fiber temperature sensing principles of temperature demodulation and master the cable’s thermal conduction mechanism. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of four typical optical fiber composite cable structures, then design an offset composite structure of cable to be more suitable for mine cable.(2) Apply ANS YS software to carry on the analysis of the electric field and temperature field. Respectively obtain the influence of the electric field and the distribution discipline of temperature field of mining cable with the fiber composition or not. Obtain conduction gradient relationship between fiber core temperature and cable conductor wire core temperature:Y=0.95419X+0.91629. Point out the negative exponential relationship between the thermal conductivity of the fiber material and the temperature sensitivity of fiber optic.(3) Carry out the manufacturing and technology research about optical fiber composite mine cable, including the determination of the strengthening structure and material parameters of the optical unit and the composite mode of longitudinally laying with insulation fixed. Design the manufacture technology of the optical fiber composite cable mine with the analysis of the key processes, such as even sulfur technology and cabling technology. Then put forward the reservation processing measures of cable ends and optoelectronic separation technology ideas. Finally the sample production of composite cable is realized.(4) Conduct experimental tests about electrical performance and fiber attenuation performance of the composite cable sample. Cable can withstand the voltage 34.8kV in 4hours of duration. Insulation resistance is 1402MΩ·km.850nm fiber attenuation is 2.43dB/km and 1300nm fiber attenuation is 0.57dB/km. All these results meet the performance requirements of the cable and meet the performance requirements of fiber optic temperature measurement, which lays the foundation for the application promotion of optical fiber composite cable for project.
