The die-casting has the characteristics of high precision and high efficiency,which is not compared with other casting methods.In the current die casting production,the designing of casting process and die casting mold mainly rely on the experience of the die-casting staff,and scientific and effective theoretical is shortage.By using computer numerical simulation technology,the numerical simulation of the mold filling process was carried out,which was able to observe the filling state of metal liquid and the solidification process of the casting.The filter bracket of the research was one of the parts of the engine filter,the structure was complex,and it was difficult to produce.Under the existing die-casting process,the production of die casting parts appeared the porosity and shrinkage,suppressed the low qualification rate and the poor economic benefit.The orthogonal test table of the three factor three level was designed with the mold preheating temperature,the pressure injection rate and the pouring temperature.The orthogonal experiment was carried out by ProCAST software.The flow field mold filling and the solidification process of the die casting was analyzed.The simulation results were analyzed based on the solidification time,air volume and shrinkage porosity.The optimal die casting technology parameters were determined as:the die preheating temperature was 200?,the pressure was 1.0m/s and the pouring temperature was 630?.The parts drawing and assembly drawing of the die casting mold were designed based on the result on numerical simulation,and the machining of the parts were carried out according to the assembly drawing.According to the simulation of the die casting process parameters,the production of filter bracket was finished.By means of optical microscope,scanning electron microscope and pressure test,and the casting was qualified.
