Polyoxometalate received extensive attention of research workers due to its brown acidity and lewis acidity. With the introduction of different metal atoms, polyoxometalate becomes more and more abundant in nature. This paper mainly studies the vanadium substituted polyoxometalate microtubes and its oxidability. SiW12 polyoxometalate microtubes modified with ruthenium and its luminosity also have been studied. This paper prepared SiW9 and SiW11 by the traditional synthesis method. Then no template method is used to modify multiple vanadium and ruthenium atom to polyoxometalate. The structure and morphology of the microtubes have been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy spectrum (EDS), element distribution and XPS also have been characterized. The electrochemical characteristic has been studied, too. We also study the luminosity of the microtubers modified with Ruthenium by steady state and time resolved fluorescence spectrometers and confocal laser scanning microscope. In this work, we study the oxidability of the vanadium polyoxometalate microtubes and HPB vanadium polyoxometalate microtubes. We synthesized polyoxometalate microtubes modified with ruthenium by the acetyl acetone load-calcination method, acetyl acetone solution growth method and ruthenium pyridine solution method, respectively.
