Organic reactions catalyzed by transition metal of silver is an important area of o rganic chemistry research today. In recent years, it has been rapid development. Previo usly, people has been working on other transition metal-catalyzed reaction, due to thel ow activity of the silver catalyst, people often use silver as Lewis acid catalyst or au xiliary catalytic reaction, after deeply study, people found that olefinic, isocyanurate gro ups, etc. π system can be activatedby silver, further nucleophilic intermolecular or intr amolecular reaction, Furthermore, silver can be involved in coupling reaction and gene rating chiral center and it also be used in carbine and radical reaction.Sulfonyltriazole is effective organic synthesis intermediate, also has good biological activity and efficacy, since triazole in the presence of rhodium occurs ring-opening reaction to form carbene, then react with other substances, synthesize a variety of complex organic compounds, More and more people began to study ring-opening reaction of triazole by different metal catalyzed. Including rhodium, nickel, palladium and other metals. However, silver-catalyzed and metal free sulfonyltriazole ring opening reaction rarely reported. This article describes method for the synthesis of amidine, a condition that toluene as solvent, at 80 degrees Celsius/silver catalysis or 120 degrees Celsius/catalyst-free, by a new triazole ring-opening reaction, the reaction under mild conditions, higher yields, and no catalyst in line with the current requirements of green chemistry synthesis, while ring-opening reaction by silver catalytic and non-catalytic will play an important role to study the reaction of the triazole ring opening in promoting.
